There was a free concert of the Bach Johannes Passion in the St Mary's Cathedral Crypt on 14 April - Cathedral Director of Music Thomas Wilson conducting a group of eight soloists and a baroque orchestra in an intimate performance, reminiscent of the Bach interpretations of Rifkin, Parrott and Butt.
I was not in attendance, but this video of a rehearsal suggests that it would have been nothing but exceptional.
