Colin Mawby was Master of Music at Westminster Cathedral from 1961 to 1978, and was succeeded in that post for a few years by Stephen Cleobury (before Maestro Cleobury started his tenure at King's College Cambridge, that would last nearly four decades).
Colin Mawby also wrote music for Westminster Cathedral Choir and contributed extensively to the choral music scene in Ireland.
